Humans have helped the survival of the Bald Eagle in many ways. People have created many conservation groups and public awareness groups to help the survival of the Bald Eagle. These groups have increased the preservation of crucial natural habitat, increased awareness of the issue and have received much public and private funding to improve the cause. These groups have played many roles in increasing the Bald Eagle population. For 17 the Bald Eagle was placed on the endangered and threatened species list which has helped the Bald Eagle make a powerful comeback. Another major improvement is the banning of DDT, a pesticide responsible for many Bald Eagle deaths.
